A parked domain is one that is taken, but it is not associated with any other service - web or e-mail hosting. Basically, this type of domain name will not open any real content when you type it inside a browser, but nobody else can take it as you've already registered it and you are its owner. The benefit of obtaining a domain and parking it afterwards is the fact that you’ll be able to keep it and not stress that somebody else might register it meanwhile if, for example, the site for it is not ready yet. You are able to set a short-term Under Construction website page for a parked domain address while you're working on your site, or direct it to some other web address - temporarily or permanently. The latter option can be employed when you have already registered domain.com, for example, and you obtain domain.net and domain.org, so as to protect a brand name or a trademark. In this situation, the .net and .org domains can be parked and directed to the .com as you do not need separate sites for them.

Parked Domains in Hosting

You're going to be able to park as many domains as you would like with each of the hosting packages which we provide. However, this feature is available just for domains registered with us as the service is always provided only by the registrar. Unlike most companies, we do not charge anything additional for parking a domain address and the process will take only a couple of mouse clicks in your Hepsia Control Panel. We also have a few parking templates to choose from where you can add custom text. If you want to host a parked domain name in the future, adding it to your account takes just a mouse click. Everything required for the site to start showing up, such as creating a domain folder and setting up DNS records is going to be done automatically by our system. Our feature-rich Domain Manager tool will allow you to see a full list of the domain addresses that you have registered through us and you can set a filter to view only the parked or just the hosted ones.

Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Hosting

With each and every semi-dedicated server that we offer you will have the freedom to park as many domain names that are registered with our company as you want. Since only the registrar company can provide a parking function, you can't park domain names that are only hosted on our sophisticated cloud hosting platform. From the Domain Manager section of your Hepsia hosting CP you can park and un-park domains with as little as a couple of clicks and filter all domains you have by their status, for much easier management. We provide a number of templates that you can use and if you want, you could also include some custom text to any one of them. If you choose to un-park a domain and host it in your account, you won't have to do anything manually - our system is going to create a domain folder within the File Manager section and will set up all of the needed DNS records so that the domain address works properly and starts opening the content which you upload for it on our servers.
