We can ensure that as our cloud hosting platform employs the state-of-the-art ZFS file system. The aforementioned is the only file system which works with checksums, or unique digital fingerprints, for each file. Any data that you upload will be saved in a RAID i.e. simultaneously on a large number of SSD drives. A lot of file systems synchronize the files between the different drives with this type of a setup, but there is no real warranty that a file will not be corrupted. This may occur during the writing process on each drive and afterwards a damaged copy can be copied on the rest of the drives. What is different on our platform is that ZFS compares the checksums of all files on all the drives right away and in case a corrupted file is located, it's swapped with a good copy with the correct checksum from another drive. This way, your info will continue to be unharmed no matter what, even if a whole drive fails.

In case you buy one of our semi-dedicated hosting plans, you won't need to be concerned about silent data corruption since we use ZFS - an advanced file system that monitors all the files in real time. Each time you upload a file to your hosting account, ZFS will assign a unique digital fingerprint to it - the so-called checksum. That file will be synced between a number of SSD drives for redundancy, so if a drive fails, the other ones will take over. ZFS compares the checksum of all the copies on the different drives and when it detects a damaged copy, it replaces it with a healthy one from a different drive. This happens right away, so there will be no danger for any part of your content at any time. By comparison, other file systems execute checks only after a system failure, but since they don't use anything similar to the checksums which ZFS uses, they are unable to detect silently corrupted files, so a bad copy may be replicated on the other disks as well and you can lose crucial information. Because this isn't the case with ZFS, we're able to warrant the integrity of each file you upload no matter what.
